Trip to OC

We survived our first trip to Disneyland. It was SUPER fun! A number of other "firsts" took place while visiting Grandma and Grandpa. Hayden got his first real haircut (usually Brian just buzzes it) and ate his first sushi. Here's a bunch of photos of all the excitement. Enjoy!

Dad & Son

Here's a cute pic from mother's day. Since it was "my" day, the boys very reluctantly allowed me to take some pictures of them in their matching plaid shorts and vans.

Silly Silly Hayden

Hayden is such a character! Here are some recent photos of him in his silliness. His new favorite thing is to go into my drawers and put on my cloths. He did this before when he was a baby but now it's a little wierd. Just today I found him in the bathroom with the door locked and once I got him to unlock the door, I dicovered he was putting on my underwear that he dug out of my drawer. I think he has a new thing for underwear since he finally is wearing them himself. Here are some photos of him in my tank tops. He insisted on wearing the wife beater one day. He looked sooooo goofy (as you can see). The other photo I took of him after I found him making an art project on the bathroom wall while using the pot. New rule: no writing utensil of any kind in the bathroom! I am very proud to say that he is officially potty trained! I must mention that I had very little to do with it. Other than giving a little encouragement and offering him a marshmellow after successful uses of the toilet, I emloyed no method other than to wait until he was really, really, REALLY ready. 2 days ago he decided himself he wasnt going back to diapers and we have had no problems yet. He insisted on wearing chonies to the gym this morning (I was very hesitant because I did not want to be interupted during my work out) and he was fine. I am seriously amazed at how stinkin' easy that was. I held to the advice of some experienced friends that the longer you wait the easier it is but I still was having a hard time believing that it would ever REALLY happen! I am very happy it did.
